Course aim

The ISO 19650 Transition Course is a new training course by Operam.

The aim of this one day course is to provide learners with an introduction to the ISO 19650 series.

Its development process and the key differences between the ISO 19650 series and UK 1192 series.

Course description

This ISO 19650 Transition course has been developed by Paul Shillcock.

Paul is the author of ISO 19650-2 and the UK National Annex and the co-author of PAS 1192-2.

Designed for individuals within organizations that have already aligned their business processes to the UK 1192 series.

To enable those individuals to assess the impact the ISO 19650 series may have and benefits of switching to the ISO 19650 series.

ISO 19650 Transition Course: Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Describe the development process of the ISO 19650 series;
  • Recall the key differences between the ISO 19650 series and the UK 1192 series;
  • Identify the key benefits of adopting the ISO 19650 series;
  • Relate the key information management activities to its corresponding stage within the information management process; and
  • Summarize the purpose and contents of the UK National Annex.
